A total of 1307 students (Boys, Girls, CBSE-i and Junior Sections of the school), who had scaled the ladder of success by dint of their sheer commitment and discipline of mind, found themselves placed on the prestigious Principal’s Roll of Honour for the academic year 2013-14, in a glittering ceremony held at the open air Auditorium of the School recently.
Principal’s Roll of Honour, an annual feature instituted, to acknowledge duly the unstinting perseverance of the students coupled with ingenuity in terms of stupendous academic performance, is awarded to those who are among the top 5% of all the passed students in all divisions of a particular class in the school with the aggregate marks being assessed cumulatively in the case of classes VI to VIII.
Subject wise marks are taken into consideration for the honours list for the Senior Secondary Grades. Whereas, all those students who have secured A1 in class, which in accordance with the 10-point grading system along with corresponding grades starting from A1 to E2 with A1 being the highest, are eligible for the covetous Principal’s Roll of Honour.

Carroll, Associate Vice President, College of North Atlantic, Qatar,.
V.V. Mahmood, President, School Governing Board, in his congratulatory message to the PHL recipients remarked that these students are not only high achievers but also secured maximum heights possible all the time.
T.K. Abobacker, Director, Academics MES Governing Board, honoured the staff who secured cent percentage of attendance in the academic year 2013-14.
“Our students burn the midnight oil and they aspire nothing less than success. Parents often prove as the best teachers and MES is lucky to have well experienced faculty to support the students to march steadily to their destination”, complimented the Principal, after giving away the trophies and certificates to the achievers.
Vice Principals & Heads of Sections, Head of Academic Inspection, school officials, parents, teachers & students were present on the occasion.
Earlier in the morning the PHL ceremony for the Junior Section was conducted at the KG auditorium of the school. P.K. Mohammed, Vice President, MES Governing Board, was the chief guest of the function which was attended by the members of the management, Principal Sasidharan A.P., Senior Officials of the school, parents, teachers and students.
Chris Regi, the Head Boy of the school, welcomed the gathering while Nidhi Radhakrishnan the Head Girl, proposed a vote of thanks.
