Regetha Reghunath, a former student of MES Indian School Doha, was selected for the Student of the Year 2014 Award at the Mechanical Engineering faculty of Texas A & M University at Qatar by considering her accomplishments during the academic course period 2010 2014.
Regetha Reghunath, a former student of MES Indian School Doha, was selected for the Student of the Year 2014 Award at the Mechanical Engineering faculty of Texas A & M University at Qatar by considering her accomplishments during the academic course period 2010 – 2014.

She completed her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; (Minor, Mathematics) at Texas A&M University Qatar- (with Cum Laude) in 2014; currently doing her Masters of Engineering at University of California, Berkeley – expected to be completed by  May 2015; and already got employment  offer from Schlumberger Oil Field Services to work with their Research Group at Texas, USA.

                Research Assistant, Surgical Stitches Simulations Lab                                                                                       June 2012-June 2014 - Texas A&M University at Qatar

·         Analyzed the static and dynamic model for a surgical suture thread

·         Designed a website for the surgical suture thread simulation project

·         Received third prize at Poster Design Competition held by Anti-Doping Lab, Qatar

·         Organized successful regional conference for high school students in the GCC countries

·         Organized social and philanthropic events for students at the Texas A&M Qatar campus
